I’m so glad Raju is finally getting the treatment he deserves.

Here is a link to Wildlife SOS’ website where you can donate to the cost giving Raju a new life.

This quote below a photo of Raju eating a jackfruit melted my heart down to butter:

Here he gobbles jackfruit. We literally bought a truckload of the fruit just for him 🙂

That’s such a wonderful thing to do. We really need more people and organisations like this.

If you can, please donate. It doesn’t matter how much, please give them something. Anything. Please.

Thank you.

Imagine you were kidnapped when you had barely learned to walk. Imagine spending the next 50 years eating nothing but paper and plastic because you were so hungry but your abductor wouldn’t give you any food. Imagine having most of your hairs ripped out because your junkie captor wanted to sell them to tourists as “good luck” charms. Imagine having spiked chains that dig into your skin placed around your legs and neck.

This is Raju’s story. You can read it in full here: http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/world-news/elephant-cries-during-rescue-after-50-years-of-abuse-30414718.html

Rescuers said when they rescued Raju, tears were rolling down his cheeks. Don’t ever reveal your ignorance by claiming animals don’t feel. They feel as much as we do.

It’s true what His Holiness The Dalai Lama said: “He who is cruel to animals cannot be of good character.”

Animal abusers. May you burn in hell.
